Terre Delle Falcole - Land of the Falcons
| Renown for their Chianti Classico, Riserva & Super Tuscan, Terre Delle Falcoleis located at IL Volano in Panzano in Chianti. The Grace family owns the winery and the winery next door, IL Molino di Grace. Frank Grace is from the Cleveland, Ohio area. That is where I met him. Frank Grace has put together a great team lead by Gerhard Hirmer, to produce the Best in Tuscan Wines. The vineyards are of high elevation as the name indicates. Both wineries are run by the same team. IL Molino di Grace was awarded, Emerging winery of the year 2004 and has received Tre Bicchieri's for its wines by Gambero Rosso. Terre Delle Falcole's wines have not been rated yet. I predict they will be rated at least as high as IL Molino di Grace. W/S in the 90's and Tre Bicchieri. These wines are the Best! |  |

| From the Land of the Falcons, Terre delle Falcole in Panzano, comes this palate pleasing Super Tuscan . Blended from 50% Cabernet Sauvignon,
25% Merlot, 25% Syrah, Super Tuscan is a term that means, the best wine a Tuscan winery produces. Le Falcole is The Best from Terre delle Falcole. This wine has a real Tuscan
Flair, it will age a long time. However, it is ready to drink now. Steep Hillside 400 meters above Sea level Vinification: 18-20 Days fermention, Malolactic fermention. Aged:12 Months in French Barriques. The color is an intense ruby red. The bouquet is a complex explosion of ripe black cherries and small black berries, spicy black pepper, chocolate and tobacco. | Another offering from the Land of the Falcons, this reasonably priced Chianti is not short on flavor.
The bouquet hints of small red fruits and flowers. Full, soft tannins, good structure and persistent finish make this wine a perfect compliment to
Mama's Fettucini Bolognese. While not yet rated, the team expects high marks for this full-bodied red.
