2008 Ascheri Gavi di Gavi - Ascheri Winery
| Assertive notes of smoky quartz, lime, and hints of floral tones. This Piedmont white has a silky texture accentuated by ripe fruity nose.
The fruit is a bit earthy toned and the flavor is simple yet intense with a longish finish. Excellent as an aperitif, twins well with shell fish hors d'oeuvres, fish and clear soups.
