Gastronomical accompaniments:
It makes a very good aperitif with appetizers and seafood dishes particularly shellfish.
Vinification:
Wine obtained by 100% trebbiano grapes. The grapes harvested manually are crushed within the following two hours. Crushing is done by means of a winepress
which first separates the grape stalk from the grapes. The must is placed in a steel tank with double refrigerating pocket for cold cleaning of the same. After it becomes clear the must gets fermented at controlled temperature and following a two month rest it gets cold stabilized, flour filtered and bottled
following sterile microfiltration.
Historical mention:
Testimony of the existence of the Trebbiano D'Abruzzo vine goes back to the sixteenth century when in Andrea Bacci's work "De naturali vinorum historia ... ", there is mention of the presence of a wine obtained from Trebulanum grapes in the Fucino and Peligna areas; it is a vine which buds medium late in the season and
the fruit is ripe for picking between the 10th September and the first days of October.
