A Great Cabernet Franc ! DPR, Vineyards: Located on plain in the Grave zone in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, Northeast of Italy, in a special area of Rondover vineyards, which is called Sugano in the agricultural register.
Growing System: Spur cordon. 4000 vines per hectare and the yield is 80 ql/Ha
Wine Making: The grape-harvest is at the end of September after a careful selection of the grapes.The red wine-making is thermally controlled and the maceration of the skins lasts 15 days. Then the must is placed in special tanks where fermentation is completed in contact with selected yeast.
After the wine-making the wine is placed in steel tanks for about 10 months before the bottling.
Tasting Notes: Deep, ruby red in colour with violet reflexes, has a complex bouquet vaguely reminiscent of blackcurrant, blackberry, cherry and pepper. Full-bodied in the mouth: good intensity and lingering after-taste.
